about me.
Hi, I'm Florian.
I’m a filmmaker and visual storyteller driven by one simple idea: capturing moments that actually mean something.
where it all started.
My name is Florian Steiner, and telling stories through pictures has always been my biggest passion. Ever since I picked up my dad’s old camera, I’ve wanted to capture moments and turn them into something meaningful.
I started out with photography, shooting events and products, and learning how to see light, composition, and timing. Over time, this naturally developed into videography, which is now the main field I’m working in.
building the craft.
I grew up in Innsbruck, Austria, surrounded by the Alps. A place that naturally shaped my visual style and appreciation for cinematic landscapes.
After completing my multimedia education, I joined Evergreen Media, an online marketing agency, where I built and developed their video department from the ground up.
During my time there:
- I led video production for client projects
- Managed and grew the company’s YouTube channel from 5K to 22K subscribers
- Created content across different formats - from ads to long-form storytelling
This experience taught me not just how to create videos - but how to create videos that perform.
freelance & creative development.
Alongside agency work, I continuously worked on freelance projects, collaborating with:
- Local businesses
- Athletes
- Bands & artists
My work ranged from commercials and social media content to music videos and even a documentary.
This is where I really learned how manage multiple tasks - creative director, shooter, editor and understand what different stories and platforms truly need to succeed.

a new chapter.
In 2024, I moved to Norway to look for a new challenge and a new environment.
I’m now based in Trondheim, where I continue to follow my passion for capturing moments and telling stories through film. Since moving here, I’ve already started working with local businesses and getting to know the creative scene.
At the same time, I’m always looking to expand my network and connect with new people and projects.
I’m open for work and excited to see what’s next.
what drives me.
For me, it’s not just about creating nice visuals. It’s about capturing real moments and turning them into something people can connect with.
I enjoy the whole process behind it. From the first idea to the final cut, every step plays a role in how a story feels in the end. No matter if it’s a short social media clip or a bigger production, I like finding the small details that make a video stand out.
I’m especially drawn to projects that feel authentic and honest. The kind of stories that don’t feel staged, but real.
At the end of the day, my goal is always the same: to create something that not only looks good, but actually leaves an impression.
